Industrial Systems Biology

Sustainable production of fuels and chemicals

August 18-20, 2010

Chalmers, Gothenburg, Sweden

In line with earlier successful Gothenburg Life Science Conferences (earlier called Functional Genomics) Chalmers and Gothenburg University is organizing a 2 days conference on Industrial Systems Biology. The conference will cover the following topics:

        • Production of biofuels

        • Impact of systems biology on industrial biotechnology

        • Sustainable production of chemicals

The conference is also a so-called Chalmers Initiative Seminar, which means that the conference will also include a special student session. Chalmers BSc and MSc students can participate free of charge at the conference (students have to register on the web-site and mark that they are Chalmers students). Part of the conference is open to the public upon request.

The Initiative Seminar is supported by Friends of Chalmers - A fund for the future of Chalmers
