Personal text
I am coming from the background of molecular microbiology and have been working mainly on gene regulation (CodY) and protein phosphorylation (PY) in G+ bacteria (Lactococcus lactis, Bacillus subtilis). In the last few years I became interested in using unicellular Eukarya such as yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as a model organism for study of complex cellular functions, such as proteome maintenance, ageing and apoptosis.
